    Lukaku

http://www.teamtalk.com/news/2483/8937230/Romelu-Lukaku-focused-on-making-the-most-of-Everton-opportunity And I'm still a believe this team can be a CL team. Especially if players like him stick around.

Lukaku: "Everton gave me the opportunity to play and develop so I'm very happy to be here. Chelsea is the future." #sadface

I will say, the soccer community of America is full of actual die-hard, true fans. Not fair weather *insert any other sport here* fans. It makes it feel like an actual "gang" or community. Like you belong to something bigger than yourself.

Redzone is one of the greatest inventions for Fantasy Football owners ever. It also manages to cater to the low attention spans of most Americans.

This quote in particular: "...recently pronounced soccer as America's second-most popular sport for those age 12-24, outstripping the NBA, MLB and college football." http://sportspath.typepad.com/files/soccer-popularity-continues-to-climb.pdf

    Howard

Alright, I agree and I see your points. Thanks for the clarification. Now if only the club could get a rich owner...

    Howard

But wouldn't you say that if he was a great goaltender and didn't have random hiccups, it's only a matter of time before we lost him to one of the bigger teams for money? I'd think Howard has been just good enough to stay with the team, but not great enough to leave to a bigger club. Which...

    Howard

Can someone explain to me why there is a large divide in supporters that think Howard is good, and those that think Howard is total crap? I'm just curious if I've missed something. He's been stellar for the USMNT, and I know he's had a few hiccups here and there (a good one last week, luckily...

Especially considering how boring and dull baseball is, it's only a matter of time before it drops out of the "big 4" in the US and is replaced with something. Hockey is always hanging on, but never really gaining in popularity, sadly. I don't see it getting any less popular. There is a giant...

I didn't mean just the EPL. I meant soccer in general. Whether its MLS or EPL. Also, every sports show has now integrated soccer into it (Literally, the one we are talking about in this thread is one of them). I'm not sure where you are living, but already around me many new supporter...

Not that I believe a salary cap would ever work in world soccer. I can't imagine a team like Manchester United having the same salary cap as Gillingham or something. And you couldn't just do it in the EPL, because then all the players would leave for La Liga or one of the other leagues so they...
