Turned on a CONCACAF Champions Cup game between Pachuca and Philadelphia and watched Salomon f***ing Rondon score two goals in the first half for Pachuca. Had no idea he even played for them. I've already had a generally shitty day and this did not help on bit.
In Thailand on holiday, game starts at 10pm here but I did find a sports bar run by this expat from Norwich and he told me he'd have the game on. Nice dude. UTFT
Taking the girlfriend to go watch this game at a local pub/bar Saturday morning. I can't believe I'm willing to introduce her to this [Poor language removed].
Also, let's just start Keane to have the most Burnley lineup possible.
Regardless of any issues with this team, I'm so ready to wake up and head to the pub at 9am tomorrow to grab a pint and watch my beloved Toffees. So glad the season is back. I'm predicting a classic Dyche 1-0 win.
I absolutely love cup football, winning is still just as fun and losing isn't as bad since it doesn't mean a points drop. Plus it's a chance to see some players that aren't typically on the field.
I'm hoping we play another lower league team away, I get a kick out of seeing us play at small...
As much as I love all the crazy colors that are used for away/3rd kits, I do enjoy one that still fits our main color scheme. Good looking kit, can't wait to see it for real.
I'm honestly pretty pumped for this. The alternative was bringing in nobody and DCL getting injured so I'll happily get excited for a young striker until he gives me reason not to.
I hope Dobbin finds a spot in the lineup this season (and not because we're desperate). I've enjoyed watching him in the limited time I've seen him, looks to have a good head for the game even if he's a bit raw.
