    Optimism

Has there ever been a thread on GOT titled "Optimism"? Everton and optimism are not friends.

    Transfer Rumour Che Adams

If Adams / Gnonto go through, that's 4 attacking players Everton have brought in. 4 more than last season. Has to be a better goal output just collectively.

    Transfer Rumour Wilifred Gnonto

DM for sure. Aaronson is a live wire - didn't click at Leeds. McKennie was a January rent to own transfer. Not a big fan. Adams was industrious during the WC and started every match.

    Transfer Rumour Wilifred Gnonto

Why aren't Everton in this mix. Biased because he's American but he's young, industrious, and does the dirty bits. US Captain.

    2022/23 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Less garbage than Maupay, excluding the wind up angle?

    Jarrad Branthwaite

Truth. Which other academy player have Everton moved on, excluding Rooney, that have lit anything up or wish Everton had kept hold of? Barkley, Kenny, Pennington, Lundstram, Ledson, Baningme, Rodwell.....

    2022/23 Dominic Calvert-Lewin

Simms up front for 60 minutes, Maupay on to wind the [Poor language removed] up. Maupay is a total role player - he can't lead the line for the whole match. I'd rather see Holgate or Godfrey start up top before Maupay.

    2022/23 Neal Maupay

Everton played long to DCL and kept playing long to that jockey Maupay. Lost possession every time. Maupay has shown his worth - skilled at shithousery and masterful professional time wasting.
