I don't know how anyone can defend Martinez on this.

Absolutely spot on. I'd have managed that game better from 3-2. Genuinely. Not even being egotistical there - I think most people could have done it better.

The mad thing is not only is there the tactical issue of what the game was at the time and who was being replaced, its that Besic is his signing and he wants to offload Naismith.

How on earth does he make that decision, given the circumstances?

The manager said after the Necastle game we have learned from our mistakes utter [Poor language removed] rubbish the only way we will learn is by getting rid of that goalkeeper the defence is shot with that clown behind them and the longer he stays in the team this will continue

This is looking more and more like a defining season and sadly, beginning to look like for the wrong reasons. Big fan of Bobby's style of attacking football, but without defensive reinforcements AND some serious tightening up at the back, we're sadly doomed to being this inconsistent madness.

Coleman is looking back to his best and Rom is destined for big things. This Spurs clash is an absolute must win now if we're going to expect anything from the season.

This isn't to deflect from our defensive woes, but believe we just got Clattenburg'd as well. Soft pen considering Coleman got shoved earlier in the game
I'm not too arsed about the penalty decision, because we should never have been in a position to lose. Scoring 3 goals at home ought to be three points in the bag every single time.

Inconsistent madness is the best description of current Everton I've seen in a while.
